| Tell us who you are, why you are applying, and your relevant experience. | I am an active editor and administrator on Hausa Wikipedia and a New Patrol Graduate[1] on English Wikipedia. Most of my work includes fighting vandalism and ensuring compliance with Wikipedia Guidelines, as well as training and assisting newbies. I am an advocate for gender equality both on & off Wiki. I have organized a number of gender equality projects via the #SheSaid campaign and amplified women's voices in Northern Nigeria (where gender bias is more common due to cultural limitations). I also focus on reaching out to underrepresented communities. I have being following up the UCoC Guidelines since it’s inception and I understood it very well. The UC4C guidelines aligns with my long time mindset which is ensuring compliance with Wikimedia Guidelines especially among community members. |
| Please describe what do you hope to do if elected. | If elected, I will continue the work I’ve already started which is standing up for the minorities both in gender and in community size. I will make sure that the UCoC guidelines are followed accordingly and take appropriate measures against those who violate them. |
